Why Georgia?

Not trying to stir the pot but was curious, why are all the ceramic cooker manuf.(BGE, Primo, Kamado Joe, Grilldome) located in Georgia?? Is it a shipping thing or what...does anyone know? Since Primo is the only US made ceramic, it's not the ceramic plant, is it just spin off people leaving BGE and doing there own thing and didn't want to move out of state?? just curious....

maybe it's the Georgia clay

Did you know that most of the US carpet is made in Georgia too? Why Georgia indeed.

correct me if i'm wrong, but the competitors were started (at least one was) by a former BGE worker who jumped shipped and started the copy machine.
might be as simple as the fact that they lived in georgia when they worked at BGE, and they stayed there after they jumped ship.
