Nomex (Aramid) Gasket Info

Hi all, I was just browsing the forum and saw some questions about Nomex again and thought I would post some information. I will paste the URL of a discussion JTripplet38 started back in August below. He found this company called McMaster-Carr's that sells a product called Aramid. Aramid is apparently the Generic name for Nomex, same material, just doesn't have the proprietary name I guess. I ordered the same stuff, and installed it. It looks as good today as it did the day I installed it. I've done several high temp sears, and it hasn't affected it that I can tell.
