help: Cedar grilled salmon

Any one have a good recipe for cedar grilled salmon?

This is a good recipe...you could put the salmon on a plank.

2/3 cup soy sauce
2/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tblsps garlic
Wash & dry salmon. Marinate above with salmon for 1 - 2 hours. Remove from marinade and bast with 2 tblsps melted butter combined with 2 tblsps maple syrup. BGE at 350 - 400 for 15-20 minutes. Melts in your mouth. -
One way I like to do it is to make Cedar Planked Mashed Potatoes and then just put the salmon on a second rack above them, I do nothing more than a dry rub of pineapple head or raging river, the cedar smoke gets into both and is lovely.

We eat alot of salmon out this way. The recipe that is the local favorite is very simple, and the fish is so good that people fight over it at parties.
1. Pat dry salmon with paper towel. (rinse as little as possible with water)
2. Brush with melted butter - generously.
3. sprinkle with Johnny's seasoning salt - moderate - don't over do it.
4. sprinkle lightly with sweet musquite seasoning from Costco.
5. grill on soaked cedar plank until it looks done at the thickest place.
I personally catch and eat over 100# a year. -
