Looking for some help on how to get better extreme temps out of the eggs to cook steaks. I have read alot about getting it well over 700 but i can not seem to acomplish it.

    a full fire box of lump, no ash build up, bottom vent completly open, dasy wheel sitting on the table, give it a littl extra time to fire up, it will hit 1200 degrees so becareful ;)
