Large Table
I am thinking about building a table for my large bge.
When I purchased my egg four years ago, the retailer dropped and broke the egg when they were putting it in my truck. Luckily they were loading it when it happend so they took responsibility for it. Needless to say, I have always been a little nervous about strong winds, moving, kids playing around it, etc. My wife's always making fun of me, but I always find myself checking on my egg with strong winds and storms.
Has anybody every heard of a table adding to the possibility of getting turned over in high winds?

Depending on the table design I doubt it would go over.We have have some pretty good winds here. I think a large egg weighs about 135 LB??( not certain) if that is correct. Plus the table with fire bricks, wheels etc. make it pretty stable. The lower your egg sits in the table the more stable it will be.

Nice looking table.

I think if anything it adds stability and reduces the possibility of overturning in wind.
Mine would at least need a Hurricane.
