waiting on the butts

The butts have been on for 12 hours. 5.5 lb butts. One is 168 deg, the other is 178 deg. Hope they're done in time for the lunch party. We need to leave in about an hour and a half at the latest. Might have to have chopped pork, instead of pulled pork.
I think the Egg ran a little cool most of the night. 230-ish, instead of 250. Currently up at 280, hoping to speed things along. Patience, grasshopper.

Ben,
You have some options:
Since they are likely through the plateau, you can ramp up your egg to 300-350* to finish them off quicker, then foil and place in cooler for about an hour before pulling.
Or you can pull, foil them and place in oven at 350* or so to do the same thing. They aren't going to absorb any more smoke anyway at this point.
