Alternative Pork Butt Roast Recipe?

Hello all eggers!
It's gonna be a snowy cold weekend in Denver, so I've got the urge to put something fun on the large egg!
I'm a big fan of pulled pork, and my family likes it a lot. But I'd like to try another recipe, if anyone has one.
I was thinking of getting my butt today and brining it overnight. I've only done this with poultry in the past, but I figure it can't hurt and I have the time.
I was also thinking I'd mix of an injection and inject the roast, much like we used to do to deep fried turkeys when I lived in South Louisiana. Perhaps a salt / applesauce with a little garlic injection?
I was considering smoking over some apple wood, without a big external spice/mustard/brown sugar like I'd normally do for barbecued pulled pork.
Otherwise, normal cooking style.
What do you think? Just trying to mix it up a bit. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks! Dickson in Denver
