gotta a spatchcock chicky on the large but needed a little somethin' to pass the time......so nothing like a WI old fashion - whiskey sweet. I gotta admit, I'm in trouble because the one thing that has kept me from drinking these on a regular basis is making the simple syrup. Tonight it was a saute pan, little water and sugar and within two minutes, it's simple syrup! I see a headache in my future......dang!

Tom,
Only counts if you did the simple syrup on the egg

That's a Major League cocktail! Whiskey, not brandy, huh?
-
I'm not a fan of brandy, just shows the flexability of the drink once yet. I had to make two batches of simple syrup. Twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.

Tom,
The chicken looks great, but what's your recipe for the WI wiskey sweet?
Thanks,

A treat for the holidays. Brandy is king in Wisconsin but I don't care for it so it's bourbon for me. I think more brandy is consumed in Wisconsin than any other place on earth.

You mean to tell me that we could have put some simple syrup in JR's whiskey and it would have tasted good???? It was way too strong to swallow. Should have tried it your way....Judy

cooking outside, so big glass saves on the trips inside. I need to work on the fruit.....LOL. Twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.

don't really have a recipe, just simple syrup, bitters, and your choice of brandy or whiskey, 7 up or water. Depending on the glass, couple teaspoons of syrup and couple squirts of bitters......to taste. Twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.

I should have asked the bartender when she came outside about making one. it's a little more than just simple syrup, see Deplesis posts. What you were driking sounded good. Twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.
