I am trying to get some insite on how to egg a venison ham
if anyone out there has any eggsperiance I would certainly be grateful
I dont even know where to start with this stuff.
Is it a low and slow cook like pork or brisket or a hot and fast like a beef roast does it need to marinate or just rub and cook??

I slathered mustard nad my favorite rub on the ham I did.
I then covered the entire piece with bacon (top and bottom).
I egged it at 350 until the internal temp hit 145 degrees.

yes, you absolutely must wrap in bacon -- venison has virtually no fat content -- or you will be making jerky. it will be tasty, but it will be jerky... good luck!
