Steam Buns

Seems like folks are always looking for ways to use up odds and ends of pulled pork, shredded beef, etc. I just "re-discovered" steam buns, and they seem to provide another vehicle. Following is the dough recipe.[p]Ken[p]Steam Buns
for 12 buns
Dough:
2 cups of self-rising flour
0.75 cup lukewarm milk
0.33 cup sugar
0.5 Tablespoon oil[p]Preparation:
Mix flour, milk, oil and sugar together let rise from an hour to two hour, covered loosely.[p]Take a small piece out form it into a ball. Pat it out on floured surface with flour into a 3-inch round. Put about a tablespoonon filling in the center and pull up the sides to form a pouch.[p]Place each pouch on a square of foil or waxed paper and place in a steamer basket, leaving plenty of room for the pouch to rise and swell.[p]Steam for 25 minutes. Remove and cool before peeling off foil.
May be made in advance and frozen. (Reheat in steamer or microwave.)

BlueSmoke,
This sounds like just another calling for a Stumpbaby story.

LOG,[p]... the life of a StumpBaby fan ...[p]That occurred to me, too, but I couldn't find any other name.[p]Ken
