I've got two Rivals and the first one I checked tested positive. Apparently the handles can fail, leaving one at risk for severe burns.

Got a Rival that I don't use much, checked the handles and sure enough there are hairline cracks here and there in the plastic. I'm keeping the ceramic pot for cooking in the egg, the rest goes in the garbage.
