retrieving old posts

What I mean is: how do you go back and get an old post and attach it to a reply. Does this make sense?

Use the search function to find the post. Once you've found it and click on it, highlight the url in your browser, right click and copy it, then right click and paste in your new post.

I can search and find recipes allright, problem is you have to open all of them to see what or who youre looking for.
