Pulled Chicken & Mozza Stuffed French Bread
Grand Oeuf Vert
Posts: 1,631
The Bride took out Chicken Breats for Dinner tonight. I was thinking I'd try a stuffed bread that I saw here last week. Results were quite nice actually.
Started by grilling the chicken with DP Dizzy Dust...

Once they were done, here was the rest of the stuff...

Rolled out the dough, sliced it for braiding and loaded in some mozzarella...

Then pulled the chicken, added equal portions of Diana Rib/Wing Sauce, Carnivore Robust, dumped on top of the mozza...

All braided/closed up and eggwashed...

Then onto the Egg. 375 for 45 minutes...

All done...

Sliced...

Plated...Topped with Butter, more Mozza and sauce...

All in all, not bad. Could have used some peppers and onions though. I will try this again. Thinking Philly Cheeze Steak next time.
Oh ya, while I'm here I'll throw this on...

That's me doing a Buddy Holly Tribute a few weeks back with my kid's band!

No problem with Buddy or Ice. I got the ice all set up. Only for 15 minutes though. I figure, that'll be enough time for you guys to get hurt!

The show was a "Hall Rental then ticketed event". I filled in at the last minute because the guy who was suppose to do Buddy was sick. Roy Orbison and Elvis were also on the bill. It was fun to do. I'd like to do it again sometime.
Ya try this Stuffed Bread. Many things you can stuff in there. It was good! -
Did you make the bread yourself or was it store bought?
I see main egg seemed to start the craze and I see CW did one today too.
Looks like you can stuff if with all kinds of protein and veg - good idea. I'm going to put it on my list of must do's!
Michael -

I was thinking the exact same thing Mike. Play the guitar AND curling lessons. Sure hope he gets that job!
-
Bought the dough at Sobey's. You just have to go to the bakery dept. and they'll sell it to you. Nice and easy that way. Different types too.
-
Hurry Hard Peggy Sue.
Hurry Hard and give me that job Peggy Sue.
-
I must be honest...
The guitar wasn't plugged in. Just a prop.
The mic wasn't on either. I lipsinced.
Nope, no Egging today. Thanks to my new EZ Bake Oven.
I rock? Remember, I lie a lot. I'm a Salesman.

Thursday 10 am is the big interview! By 11 I'm booking the flight!
The Bride is getting very concerned that she's gonna be home alone this weekend. She was ok with it a week ago. -
