Pumpkin Pecan Pie Recipe

I promised Mainegg Randi's Pumpkin Pecan Pie recipe so here it is.
1 recipe Pie dough (Mainegg posted a good one earlier)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground nutmeg or 3/4 tsp pre-ground
1 cup evaporated milk (not condensed)
Mix these ingredients together well.
2 eggs well beaten
1 14-oz tin pure pumpkin puree
add to above mixture and blend well.
The original recipe says to do
2/3 cup of coarsely chopped pecans
2/3 cup of brown sugar
3 tbsp melted butter
Combine these three ingredients spread over a 9 inch unbaked pie shell in a deep dish pie plate.
Randi's way is to spread the pecans over the bottom of the pie shell, then sprinkle the brown sugar on the pecans so the sugar and pecans make a single layer (takes less than 2/3 cup of sugar). Then drizzle the melted butter over top.
Pour in the pumpkin mixture, trying not to disturb the pecan layer.
Bake at 450F for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 350 and bake for 45 to 50 minutes more or until knife comes out clean from center.
