Sorry for the dumb question, I am going to make some of the recipes that I have seen on the site and know that my guests will ask what ABT stands for when I bring out a tray of them.

Atomic Buffalo Turd..I will be posting pics in the next day or 2 of how "I" make them on my website..it seems everyone has a little variation on the cook...all I can say is they are awesome...a jalapeno stuffed with pulled pork toped with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon....[p]Wess

    Better Days,
looks like all you folks have found a common thread and that's cool, but iffin...just iffin you want to know...ABTs are also called Atomic Boat Things, and in other parts of the country they are called Mice and forget the 70's thing they are also called Roaches. Any thing you call them is fine, but one thing for sure to call them is G R E A T !!!

Better Days,[p]I also live in College Park and I'm a UMD alumnus.[p]I've never tried ABTs, but judging by their ingredients they could also mean something like Alfully Burnt Tails. :)

"Stuffed jalapeno" always works.[p]In an effort not startle/offend customers, one fellow put them on his restaurant menu as Atomic Piggy Bombs. Of course, they had pulled pork in them.[p]Or, you can always create your own specialty name. Let us know what it is if you do. We may want to steal it for ourselves. :-)

    Better Days,
Sorry for not getting back to ya last night...Seasonal Distributors in Waldorf, also the ones who put on "Eggfest", is where I get almost all of my egg related stuff...Dale and Rhona are some wonderful people. Either that or directly from BGE in Atlanta.[p]Wess

Better Days, for the "polite" name, I am using "Atomic Buffalo Turdles". I figure people can can accuse me of not knowing how to spell "turtles" or whatever, but it's at least a name I can share with my mom. :-)
