I know the interior of the egg is white only once but I want to know if there is a way to get rid of some of the builidup, especially in the lid. It looks as if I am getting a bit of creosote buildup and would like to get rid of it. Also, what is a good way to clean up some of the spills and drips on the fire ring?[p]As always, your help is appreciated.[p]Doc

    FatDog,
If your hungry..cook 2 or 3 pizzas, that will usually do it...otherwise just run it up to around 600° or more degrees for about an hour, you`ll be amamzed. But do keep an eye on your gasket, maybe open up every so often to be sure, being careful of flashback....HTH[p]Wess
