RLA,
I've been doing it direct at 300 to 350 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes, turning once![p]Dr. Chicken[p]p.s.: check your e-mail. I've got a question!

RLA,[p]I like a dome temp of about 300 (I put the bird on at around 200 & let it climb over 15-20 minutes). Timing depends on the size of the bird - a 4 pounder takes roughly an hour and a half. Start skin side up & turn the chicken over after 50 minutes or so.[p]Cathy[p]

RLA,
I agree with the others. I do poultry at 300.
