Rustic bread ...

Well I hearth baked in the egg today and I continue to work on this rustic bread that shows promise.

A long fermentation in seasoned stoneware.

Nice and golden brown, good solid crust, this is ready to take into the house. yuuuuuummmmmm, the aroma of fresh air and hearth baked bread is almost intoxicating.

Hey, I think I have a winner here. Light, very moist crumb and a beautiful deep chunchy crust. I'm thinking what a pizza would be like with this dough....... :whistle::whistle::whistle:
