Dr. BBQ's Egghole of the Year Award

Well this is kind of a changed award given my new relationship with Lisa Marie, BGE and many of you. [p]Luckily I have found a recipient that deserves this award both in the old way and in the new way. You see this egger was nice to me the first time I met him even though he knew my reputation very well and I had not yet seen the green light. He even approached me to say hi and immediately invited me to a party he was hosting later in the day. I couldn't make it but I did call him a few months later and was again treated much nicer than I deserved.[p]Well a lot of water has passed under the bridge in the past six months and this guy who was foolish enough to be nice to me is now someone I respect and work with on a regular basis. He is also a driving force at Big Green Egg. [p]Congratulations to my friend and my "egger" of the year for 2003.[p]Jim Nufer[p]BTW, under the old format Smokin' Todd would have won

drbbq,[p]Yeah, Jim is a really cool dude. Also, I have to say, at the risk of tarnishing his reputation through his association with some shady characters, he was one of the "die hards" who hung around the bar with us too long at the end of the first Eggfest then around the keg too long at the second one! Jim Nufer was there extending the after parties late into the night with the likes of Nature Boy, Earl, Barb, WessB, Sally, myself, and some other die hards including none other than Smokin' Todd![p]Here's to hoping that this year will bring us some more opportunities to hang out before, during, and after some BBQ gatherings cooking, eating, drinking, and BS'ing long into the evening.[p]Happy New Year,

Jim is an awesome individual, and in my opinion..a VERY strong force in the success of BGE, he is great to party with as Cornfed mentioned.....but the bottom line is, he wants to see a satisfied and happy customer...Thanks for giving hime the award, I cant wait to see his trophy..LOL....
