More forum categories?

Would it be possible to subdivide the main forum into more subcategories? Perhaps gadgets, recipes, accesories, etc.

This topic has come up before.

The short answer is, some like the idea, but others don't.

Eventually, we may provide an index that can view one category (like now), all categories, or, perhaps selected ones. Then, those that like the "stream of thought" style can view the index with all categories; and, those that like a "more focused" style can get what they're looking for too.
