First Time Jerky...modified for shorter times...thanks for ideas CW Mike, JSlot, George and Wess B

Easy, short on time so di the following:[p]Popped 5 lbs bottom round in freezer for 90 minutes, slide into 1/4 to 3/8 strips[p]Marinated in 1/2 cup worchestire, 1/2 cup soy, onion garlic powder, liquid smoke in two ziplocs on the counter for 60 minutes.[p]Put foil covered grid over drip pan on main grid...put in some Alder and Apple wood with just a couple of chips of hickory[p]Kosher Salt heavily , Pepper 3.5 hours at 220, flip 2 hours at 200[p]Your done...let's see..nice salty tasting beef jerky, what cold refreshment goes with salty food, my basement refrigerator is calling my name.

Did someone say Beer! The only thing that is better than jerky with beer is .... more Beer.[p]I am going to try this jerky thing. Sounds real good!
