Refresh my memory please...Butt cook.

I hate to admit it but it's been almost a year since I've cooked a butt on the BGE. Can someone refresh my memory here? Am I correct in thinking 1/2 lb average per person (uncooked weight) and about 2 hours per pound at 185-200? Thanks all.[p]Stuart

stuart,
a 1/2# per person uncooked sounds about right, but hey...you can never have to much pulled pork I like to err on the side of ending up with to much.. I cook mine in the 250° dome temp range, and it typically works out to about 2 1/2 hours per pound for me...8.5 pounds roughly 20 hours. I cook to an internal of 200°..HTH[p]Wess
