First Try at Jerky

Below are pics of my first jerky cook. It took 6 hours at 180 degrees. The basic recipie was Gfw's River City Jerky. I started with 2 pounds of london broil. I marinated it for about 30 hours, and added some QuickCure to the recipie to reduce the chance of spoilage. [p]These are my first pics on the site, as well. Thanks to Tim Moore who posted directions for posting pics. I've been holding on to the directions since June. [p]Thanks to Chef Arnoldi for his post of Dec 14 about the the StarPhoto site for storing digital images. I signed up, and these pics are posted there. If anything goes wrong with the pics appearing, it will be all my fault. I've noticed it takes a time or two to get the pictures posted properly.[p]As for the Jerky, the family started munching on it before it had time to cool.
