Hank,[p]Here's one the Q.N.E. tyme just made and said it was fantastic. I will be making it, too, during the holidays.[p]I'm sure you can adapt it to the Egg. If you must.[p]Lee

Hank,[p]How about a T-Rexed steak, thinly sliced (best done rare) and served on a cracker with some horseraddish. Or a thin slice of brisket....

Hank,
Guy came to a party at my house last weekend with smoked pheasant. Just the breast. Delicious. He cooked it, cut it up, chilled it in the fridge. Brought it to the party cold. We ate it with toothpicks. Says he used 1/2 old bay seasoning and 1/2 turbinado as a rub.

nikkig,
And they work![p]They taste wonderful! The downside is they don't just "happen." They are labor intensive, but well worth the effort.[p]Mike in MN

UnConundrum,
I was just looking at a recipe (with pictures) of a similar "treat." I thought it would work...looked like it would make a nice snack. Served cold, or luke warm...either way. Good for an office party, or neighborhood get together.

Hank,[p]A really easy thing that always goes over well is cherry double smoked sausage. Just pick up any smoked sausage at the grocery store, like Hillshire Farms or Cumberland, then smoke with some cherry wood for about an hour at 250° or so. When it's done, wrap in foil and put in a cooler with some towels until you get to the party. Then, pull it out, slice it into small rounds and serve with several assorted mustards.[p]MMMMmmmm,
QBabe
:~)

Hank,
How about marinated pork tenderloin, sliced thin?
Cheers,
G.
