How many briskets on a Large?

How many briskets can you do on a large? I've done two trimmed ones once and they turned out well, but I wonder if I used a grid extender and slapped another on top?[p]Does the 1.5 to 2 hours a pound apply to each brisket or to the sum of weight of all three?[p]Thanks and Merry Brisket!

Two 14 lb. briskets is the most I've ever attempted, Ed. I used a grid extender. Time was about the same as for one and they were both done at the same time.[p]Jim

JSlot,[p]Howd' the one on the bottom turn out? I'm just wondering since it gets the benefit of the drippings from the one above it. Was the bark ok?

The bark was just fine, Ed. I will admit that the bite on both was better than the bark! LOL![p]Jim
