<p />I had a two egg table until yesterday. I bought a mini a while back and never had a real home for it. Well, now I do. It's not the fanciest table but I'm sure it will do. I would have liked to have more room between the mini and Medium but the dang thing's already 8' long.[p]I'm breakin the champagne on the large. Doin a little salmon, just plastered with two kinds of Dizzy. Purrin right along for the last two hours at 170 with a #2 ring.[p]Go Bears. Who????????[p]Mick

    MickeyT,
Looks great..absolutely functional..I see a very similar build for mine in the near future, cant never get enough counter space...I will build on the "L" shaped theme, but along the same lines as yours..gettin to that lower vent on the mini has got to be a trick tho....Enjoy your new space.[p]Wess

MickeyT, not being a smarty*ss but seeing that you and I share the same general weather then why are the green feet down there? I thought I didn't need the feet either since my eggs also sat directly on stepping stones until both broke - one nearly exploded - I assume from drawing moisture and then being in direct contact with a super heated BGE. BTW I call #10 ring my pizza ring as it locks on 500° for me every time!

  • MickeyT,[p]Looks great! I can't wait to get mine built. Ahh, a pair of larges side by side with a little one on the end. It should present quite a profile. [grin]

    GrillMeister,
maybe you've seen my response before, but when I added a small to my existing table that held my large I merely made a box with a top and 2 sides and 1 end. That served as the riser to lift the small up through the top. That riser then further became the carcass for a drawer to store utensils. I used stainless steel ball bearing drawer hardware and it works slick. Email me if you need more info. BTW did you get your Rutland on OK?

  • RRP,[p]I'd like to see the table. When I removed the hinge band on the egg, my fears about the cracks near the guide hole on the bottom were confirmed. The old gasket is holding a large chunk of ceramic in place. I'm waiting on a replacement before I put anything back together. Lucky for me, I have another large & a small to keep my attitude in check, but BGE is standing behind their product with great customer service.

    Cheers,
