Thanks Grandpas Grub for your DO roast recipe. Tonights roast was the best the family has ever had.
Searing mode and creating those dark crunchy things that makes the best gravy.
Added the veggies and waited and wow did it turn out great. Made some great gravy in the DO after all was done as per the recipe and it had the "WOW" factor.
Sweet Potato & Buttermilk rolls turned out yummy as well.

I'm guessing you used the Pot Roast recipe in the Forum Cookbook section, but substituted the chuck with the prime rib roast? -

That's got to be my favourite cut. looks great with the veg - nice rolls.

They are great for many different cooks. I am looking to upgrade to a larger one. This one came with a glass lid and can be found at Bass Pro.
