Pizza stone and meat hanger fabrication

I like the "Y" bracket/pizza stone set up so far, even better than the plate sitter because the heat is forced to the sides of the firebox at a lower level. A chicken on a vertical stand doesn't sit up close to the upper vent anymore either. I believe this reduces un-even browning.
Hope someone finds this interesting or helpful.

jonladd,
A home welder, ringroller, bender and some mild steel make for a happy egger.
I am making a knockoff lumpsaver, but I really like your rendition of the pizza stone holder - I think that I'll steel (intended) it. Nice job.[p]I did a rain hat back in the dry of summer. Now that it is raining in Norcal, I don't cook without it, works great - and makes the egg look like a cartoon out of Dr. Seuss book.[p]
