nikkig,[p]Do you think cherry wood would work well?

Man those are good, Nikki. I just got done plowing through the second bag that Rick sent me. I can't stop eating these things!!! Very highly addictive....not like it was a good idea to keep them right next to my desk here![p]Finally got his work of art up on the dizzy site too. Makes a great addition to the customer recipes...and too my waistline! [p]Happy Holidays...and thanks to Rick for the great documentary!
Chris (storing almonds in my cheek pouches....[p]

Cornbread Willy,[p]I have read that any of the fruit woods will work for smoking almonds. I havent tried cherry, but would like to know how it comes out if you give it a go![p]I started using plum because I had it on hand. It turned out a good flavor and so I keep using it.[p]In the future I'll try more woods and share the results.

WessB,[p]Thats what I call a true eGGhead doing that dancing LOL. I think it was originally a George Bush dancer but I spliced the egg on him. :-) he looks better now.

WessB,[p]Ever notice some post just disappear from the face of the earth?[p]Ive searched for post I KNOW the title of, and they were recipe egg related - not junk to be deleted and they just dont exist anymore.[p]On the yahoo forums there is an option to mail a post along. Be a nice option here to click that choice and mail a post to yourself for keeping.[p]Recipes that I like the looks of and wanna try someday I copy paste into a word document and save them. The best I can do to be sure it doesnt diappear.

Boccie,
I think you be right. Cherry wood, to me, is very similar to plum. Conebraid Willy should be fine with it.
Those almonds you sent are yesterday's news. Could not stop until they were gone. Good without beer. Good with beer. Just freakin fantastic!![p]'appy 'olidays!

Boccie,
Yes,
When I see a post/recipe that I like and will want to try down the road I used to send the link to myself, but, sometimes the link is no longer valid.[p]Now I copy and paste to an email to myself and then print it out.[p]A great weekend to ya,
New Bob

New Bob,[p]If using Internet Explorer, you *could* just do this:[p]File
Send
Page by email[p](to send the page to youself via email)[p]*or*[p]File
Print[p](just print the page outright, skip the emailing!)
-
Pakak,
Thanks,
I think the reason I do the copy & paste is when I print it I don't waste extra paper by printing all the stuff outside of the recipe. Nothing worse then to see a sheet of paper with one or two lines that don't mean anything.[p]Cheers,
New Bob

New Bob,
when messages get archived, the address changes. For example...this message today is at [p]http://biggreenegg.com/wwwboard/messages/107103.shtml but [p]when it becomes archived, it will be[p]http://www.biggreenegg.com/archives/2003/messages/107103.htm[p]so..if you have any links that don't work, just try changing those parts. Works for me everytime.[p]~nikki
