Grillmeister... Trans Crate
Wardster

Grillmeister, I'm working on my egg trans crate today and have a couple of questions on measurements. How big of a diameter did you cut for the large? Also, with the cut, how long did you make your 2x4's? You answers are really appreciated as this will save me tons of time.....
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Wardster,[p]The hole is 20 1/4" in diameter and the 2x4s are 12" long.[p]The plywood was already 25" x 25" at Home Depot.[p]Now this is for a Large with the spring loaded hinge.[p]Be sure to offset each 2x4 so each consecutive one is facing the other direction. This will help provide stability so you won't need any more bracing.[p]Cheers,[p]Ed Krach
