Fogged thermometer

New Egg owner here.

First cook. Baby backs. Yum.

Sudden unexpected rain storm.

Covered the Daisy Wheel with a sauce pan. Worked well.

Thermometer, however, fogged up with moisture.

Is this a problem with the Big Green Egg thermometer, or is it a defective one I should return to the dealer?

Can I expect it to fog up with every rainstorm?
