Go to Lowes or somewhere and a get a 24" Aluminum Water Heater Drain Pan.

When building tables, I used this as a template for the upper part of the table. I then kept it and use for holding the grill while lighting the Egg. -
or you could go to home depot and get a really big compass for $8. You kind have to hunt for it, but its in the hand tools section. White fiberglass rod with blue pieces - nail on one end, pencil on the other. With that you could draw any size circle you want up to 24"
ps make sure you watch your depth on that 21" hole. sprung eggs need to sit higher up -
I know all the plans I've seen for a large egg are for a 21" sized hole, but I kind of wished mine was slightly larger.
I'm thinking that there isn't enough of an air gap between the sides of the egg and the wood, with a 21" hole.
Because of this, I've lifted the egg even higher with a patio paver to get the lower and more narrow section in the hole.
I've now got, without checking, a guess, 3/4 of an inch or so gap, all around.
