What is safe way to thaw brisket quickly?

Hi all,
I have a BIG BBQ party coming up. Took the frozen briskets out of the freezer last Sunday morning to thaw. They're in the lowest part of the fridge and have been for four days, but they've barely begun to thaw.
I have to put them on the egg by Friday noon. Is there a safe method for thawing more quickly?
Thanks
Lisa

I'm assuming they are in cryovac bags. You can place them in a sink full of cold water. If you have an ample water supply, run cold water over them. They can be placed in slightly warmer water, but that will increase the rate any bacteria that are on them will grow. You would then definitely need to get them into a hot Egg as soon as possible.

Saw this recipe. I think it could easily be done on the egg!!

BEST BRISKET EVER
1 pouch Lipton onion soup mix
1 jar chili sauce
1 can regular Coke
1 lg. untrimmed brisket
Put brisket in roasting pan, fatty side up. In bowl, mix soup mix, chili sauce and Coke. Pour over brisket. Cover roaster and bake in 300 degree oven for at least 5 hours. Remove brisket from gravy and slice diagonally. Skim fat off gravy and serve as sauce for the meat. -
Here is a like to an earlier discussion on the topic.

it really wouldnt bother me to put them on if they still were partially frozen in the middle. you will probably get a better smoke ring that way
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Thanks everyone for your tips. I have the cryovac in the sink with water running over it. Looks like the party won't be ruined after all
