well, it was worth all the work. .. the turkey was unbelievable. .. 7 and 1/2 hours of egg magic at 325 degrees, extremely moist, just a hint of smoke. .. the crud in the pan made the most delicious gravy we've ever had yet. . .the sweet potatoes and dressing also benefited from the egg. . .along with green jello mold (had to have something green on the table) and mashed potatoes (the only thing not 'egged'). . just pulled the apple pie out of the egg, we'll eat that once we can move again. . .[p]just a great day of egging and eatin and enjoying family on a beautiful fall day. .. [p]hope all of you are having an equally great thanksgiving. .. .[p]

  • mad max beyond eggdome,[p]Your subject line was the best laugh I had today. Your dating experience sounds like mine. You must be short fat and ugly like me. Marty

LAD,[p]If you change your hours to days and your minutes to seconds, then you'll accurately describe my early dates :)[p]Sorry...[p]I hate a great Thanksgiving, too. My only cooking was the now traditional at my family gatherings cornbread and sausage sage stuffing from Julia and Jacques "Cooking at Home." I've now made it the past three or four holiday seasons, and it always gets so many rave reviews. I must have had compliments from 20 people today. And it's so easy to make...[p]I'm being the nonconformist and am planning a turkey for this weekend (most likely Sunday). I'm going to inject a brine then cook it over charcoal and smoke at about 325. Should be fun![p]Later,
