Man-o-man was that John Ash brine a success!

As Cat had promised the John Ash brine recipe plus the swim for four days in it made a superb tasting bird! And to think I have had the recipe for three years but had never tried it before. S-i-l brought a traditional oven baked bird - guess whose bird stole the show - of course we have few scraps of the John Ash one for left overs 8^(
