Turning ye old Turkey

PlanB,[p]I saw a Chef on CNN say that they cook theirs brest side down. He claimed the jucies then run down to the breast meat rather than vice versa. It makes sense I guess, but he said it also does not make a good lucking turkey to present to guests. I guess it would be ok if you sliced it in the kitchen and brought out the meat for serving. One disadvantage to your rotating ever 20 min is that it will take you much longer to cook it since you will be opening it up lots of times and you give it more chance to dry out by releasing the moist heat each time.[p]Tim

Tim M,[p]Bravo on the opening of the grill - adds way too much time. Most ovens have hot spots which the ceramics of the BGE remove as a concern. Would not turn the turkey at all.
