So this question is probably geared more towards the XL, but once your table is built, how the heck you get that monster up and in there?

  • I used the back door.My wife and I couldn't lift the egg 35" high without collateral damage to the table or egg. Here's the pic.

Jersey, I have never done it with an XL, but every time I put my egg in & out of my table, I would remove the dome & take out as many parts as you can from the inside of the egg, the bottom itself is much more manageable, & it is easier to grab around the rim & slowly lower into and take out of the table. I would imagine you could do the same with the XL, maybe with two people. Others have used the giant plant moving straps (don't know what they are called).

  • I use a large ratchet strap just under the lower lip of the egg. Don't over tighten and place the ratchet just under the handle. Use the ratchet like a handle to lift with and a buddy can lift from the back side where the hinge is. Works great for me to lift my large in and out.
