Turkey Injection

Devlor,
Have you considered brining?
Cheers
Chris

Devlor,
I inject rather than brine and mix up my own stuff.
I start with chicken brooth and/or bullion. I melt in a stick of butter, liquid crab boil, Tony C's, garlic and onion powder.

Devlor,[p]Nature Boy suggested brining, he is spot on, if you haven’t brined a turkey before then your family and guests are missing out really moist fowl. I didn’t try it for a couple of years because it sounded awful (brine, salt, soak) - it is actually much easier than injecting and produces moister results (mho of course). Every hole the injector pokes in the bird gives the moisture a way out.[p]We don’t flip our steaks with a fork for the same reason.
-
Shelby,[p]I'll second that injection.......that's what I use too.
-
pivotizer, You cook your steaks only on one side ?
-
HighMedLow,[p]Only when I'm forgetful, but mostly I turn em with tongs.[p]Do you poke holes in them before you eat em?[p]~
