<p />ChefRD, thanks for one of the best ideas since cheez wiz. Your breaded wings are magic. This is a 2 and a half hour version at 225-250 direct upper grate. Mac and cheese, celery sticks and ranch dipping sauce, and me and the twins was happy. The dinner table was kinda quiet.

    Nature Boy,
You're more than welcome my friend, glad you liked it. I don't Egg as much as i used to, but still enjoy it when I do. Say hi to the twins for me, and if the 'kids' will eat them, then I'll really happy. :)
I'm waiting to see how they taste after you put your own spin on them ;).
Thanks for buying the first round :)
    I'll get the second.
    later,

    Glenn,
The original ChefRD recipe is in the recipe section here under poultry. I do a few things differenty now, after cooking killer ChefRD wings for 4 years. I just finished getting some pictures and words down on "paper". Literally got the recipe up minutes ago. Check the link for the unproofread lowdown.
    Happy Sunday!

    Thanks Dave,
Many rubs would be good in the flour mixture. I used Tsunami Spin for these. Found them to be in need of a little salt though, so next time a couple tsp of salt goes in the breading....and maybe even a little in the eggwash. [p]Happy football day. Go Skins.

  • Morning Chris,[p]This is one great recipe for wings but it works equally as well on all chicken parts. Even works great on whole chicken and whole turkey breasts. For larger meat like whole chicken, just brush on the egg wash and then pack the dry mix on the meat. For a real treat, try it with pork chops or sliced pork loin. Try it with any type of white fish. I have even used it for mush although cooked in a skillet with lard. It's just one killer recipe to me and I use it often. [p]Old Dave

  • Old Dave,
I have tried it on thighs and you are right! But you come loaded with even MORE ideas. I will have to try it on chops and fish now. Thanks for the ideas![p]Mush in a skillet???[p]Cheers Dave
