Hi all...Today..Car Wash Mike Ribs

Bakc from a little trip and been missing my Egg! Today I decided to try Car Wash Mikes' Rib Recipe. They are in the fridge, Egg is started and should be on about 12:30 or so. Pics to follow...... :laugh:

  • having a tough time getting the egg down to 200-250, anyone got suggestions? have had it almost completely shut down and can't seem to get there. 250 is as low as I have gotten? :S

    the trick is to not go above it. the ceramic will hold a lot of heat for a long time. 250 is perfect.

    The temp will drop a little when you throw all that meat on. Go for it!

    zackly. ribs don't care if it's 200 or 275.

  • went back out and had the ceraimic cover on it, put on the cast iron top and opened barely and wellm, 225. Been there for 15 minutes or so. wil take a pic at the first spritzing with apple juice and apple cider vinegar.; Thanks

  • :woohoo: Had some original CWM ribs today in Denver cooked by Mikey himself. EGGstremely Delicious!!! Now have some Blues Hog, so can try to learn to come kinda close :side: to the originals ;)
