From the Blue Bird Diner formerly The Green Front Restaurant. Ground Steak Sandwich.

The Raws:
1. Two # ground chuck 80% lean/ 20 % fat no more no less
2. Salt & Pepper

3. Flour & Water.

Brown the Gr. Chuck chop it finely. S & P liberly. The sammy is kind of peppery. Drain grease.
Mix 3 pts. water & 1 pt. flour, whisk till no lumps ( about 1 & 1/2 cup flour to /2 cup flour. )
Move your gr. chuck to a large pot ( cook on Med. heat ) and add water/flour mixture slowely until the beef reaches desired consistency. The consistency should be similar to a sloppy joe. Best served on a bun or white bread with mayo., slaw & tomato. Enjoy
