Try a flour tortilla instead!!!
My wife was really craving some pizza before she went off to work last night. Didn't have enough time to make any dough and was not about to order takeout. Hence, my dilemma. Went to the fridge and found a pack of flour tortillas hanging out in the food crisper. I figured what the heck...I'll try it. Spread a little olive oil on the top, added just a wee bit of sauce followed by some artichoke chunks and pepperoni. Topped it all off with some freshly grated mozzarella and a sprinkle of ground oregano. Into the Egg and onto the pizza stone at 450. Ten or so minutes later...dinner was served. Give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. (Just wish I had a pic to share)
Beers to all, Mac

  • Macin NC ,[p]Kinda hate to admit it, but when 5:30 pm comes around and the kids are pestering me for some grub, and I don't want to go out for take-out, and my wife is at a meeting, and I still have five hours of work to fit in to meet a deadline... [p]I just fire up 'Ol Green, take a tube of Pillsbury Pizza Crust ™ out of the fridge, slap it on a peal, squirt on some Contadina Pizza Squeeze™ toss on some cheddar and mozzarella cheese, Hormel Sliced Pepperoni ™, etc. and in 35 minutes I have a piping hot pizza that the teenagers will devour! Sames my sanity. Of course, I only do that when I'm stressed for time. Otherwise, homemade crust and sauce all the way... [p]MM
