Turkey for Thanksgiving

My wife wants me to smoke a Turkey for Thanksgiving so I thought I might better do a practice run this weekend. I have not cooked a turkey yet and need suggestions as to setup, dome temp, when to take off, etc.[p]TIA,

My only turkey (so far, but I hope to repeat for Thanksgiving) was breast down in a V-rack. I did it at the same temp and time that I would have done the same turkey in the oven. Turned out very nice & delicious.

Tuck, Cooked a apple brined turkey using the bill wise recipe yesterday, it was fantastic. Used apple chips for the first 3 Hrs. Would increase temp from 225-250 to 275-300, increasing to 325 towards the end to get bird up to temp.
