TideJoe,
First of all, welcome to the family. Please be sure to post often and let us know how your success and failures turn out.[p]Check out TheNakedWhiz.com and on his site, there are plans for tables and a photo album of several forum members tables (mine is not there).[p]I use a round 2" thick patio stone. There are many options and the patio stone is just one of them. Good luck with your project. Post pics if you have a camera![p]Cheers,
Banker John

Banker John,[p]Thanks for the welcome. I'll be sure you keep you guys updated. I'm ready to try it all. My wife and I love to grill fish (grouper, snapper, AJ, tuna, etc) pork loin, filet mignon, chicken etc. I've never owned a smoker so I've never done any ribs or butts but I'm ready to tackle it.[p]Take it easy,[p]Joey

TideJoe,
OOOhhh, from the sounds of your favorites, you are a fellow fisherman too. Where you from?
-
TideJoe,
Banker John gave you great advice. What about the feet that come with the egg?
Welcome and I'm always open to different ideas and recipes.[p]CWM

Banker John,[p]Originally from a town just north of Gulf Shores, AL (Robertsdale, AL lived there 21 years). Now I'm in Hattiesburg, MS but I still get down to LA (lower Alabama) to get in some offshore fishing.

Car Wash Mike,[p]Thanks Mike. The wife and I are okay with beef but we can cook some pork loins and gulf fish like no other (I'm a little biased ofcourse :^) I'm hoping the egg will allow me to branch out with the beef, ribs, pork, etc and improve what we're already good at.
