Crab Stuffed Prawns

Here is a cook that was way over due. Since my daughter and her beau left for San Francisco this morning (his new assignment for the next 6 months), this was the send off dinner. Thanks CWM for your recipe development, they were awesome.

Got some scalloped potatoes going…

Check these out for size; 8 = 1.85 lbs

Potatoes are ready and the stuffed shrimp went on, you know who gets stuffed next... :P

I got them at HEB Plus, the scaled down version of Central Market.

They just opened a new one close to my ofice just south west of Kirby and 59. Real nice.
Our HEB in Galveston never re-opened after IKE.
I do stop at the one near 646 just north of Dickenson on my way home and grab stuff. Even it's better than both the major stores we have in Galveston.
What location do you visit?

Once every 6 weeks or so I'll go to Central Market. I'm on the west side town near Katy. They opened an HEB Plus last year on South Fry Road. I go to the Plus when I want to count on an item being there with some quality to it.

whenever i encounter massive shrimp, or prawns like those, i always think i'm being funny by saying something like "well. these are some small lobster tails, aren't they?" har har

those things are huge. never seen anything like them
