Need a V-Rack
SouthernMan

Does anyone in the RTP (NC) area know where I can get a BGE V-rack. I'm in charge of making the 'Q for the NCSU tailgate this weekend and want to do some butt rather than ribs.[p]Kinsey

SouthernMan,[p]You can pick one up nearly anywhere that sells kitchen wares. They are normally found in the same area as roasting pans.

SouthernMan,
You don't need a v-rack to do butt. We just put ours on a grill above a drip pan. Setup from the bottom would be: firebox, fire ring, grill, drip pan, grill, butt. [p]~nikki

SouthernMan,
If you have a plate setter, invert it (legs up) on the fire box and place a drip pan in the middle, then place a grid on the legs of the plate setter. [p]You don't have to buy a v-rack, unless you really want one.[p]Banker John
