I need a good brisket recipe.

jim,[p]It doesn't get better than the link below. If you choose to cook indirect instead of the recipe instructions, plan on at least 12 hours. The rub recipe is Eggcellent on anything beef and especially brisket.[p]K~G

jim,
heres what I do.....
take a brisket and butterfly it, remove excess fat from inside, season it pretty heavy, on the bottom half of brisket put some chopped onions, bell peppers, celery, and garlic, take 2 pounds of fresh pork sausage out of the casing and spread out evenly, slice (lengthwise) 1 pound smoked sausage ( 3 links ) about 1/2 inch thick, lay that on top of other sausage, pull top back over all the stuffing, sew it up with cotton twine so nothing comes out, cook indirect for about 5 hours at 300 degrees.
