I was trying to think of something different as a side dish to go with the Airline Chicken that I was making last night.

I came up with kind of a crab boil without the crab or boiling.

Mix a bunch of corn, red bliss potatoes, lemon juice (1 lemon), beer (1/4 cup), and a stick of butter.

Put it all on a double sheet of foil

Top that with another double sheet of foil and seal all of the edges real tight.

Put directly on the grill at 350-400f for 10 minutes. Flip and go another 10 minutes. It's done! Be careful when opening it because the steam will be VERY HOT.DSC_01001024x768.jpg

The corn and potatoes are perfectly done and the flavor is fantastic. The kick of the Old Bay and the lemon really waken things up!

This one was a hit with all 7 of us last night.

For more details about it, you can check out my blog post about it, but I think you can figger it out from this :)

Great improvisation. Have all of the above waiting at home. I think I know what will be for dinner. Thanks!

That is a great way to do veggies. We still do corn in the microwave though.
