Very Nice!!!
I'm sure it was worth the wait.Almost too nice to put outside!LOL
Are those ash pans under the eggs? If so that's a great idea.
What kind of finish did you put on your unit?
Thanks for sharing.

no beer openener  nice job thoughfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Hey, thanks. Yeah, they are ash pans. It actually really makes cleaning the ash out less of a task. It just takes one hand so that I don't have to put my beer down. I used an outdoor 2 coats of deck stain, some kind of Australian Oil stain, and several coats of polyurathane.

Great design and execution, I hope you are going to cover it.

OMG! What a great job!

I said to my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?' She said, 'I want to go somewhere I've never been before.' I said, 'Try the kitchen.'

Coles that looks awesome-great job.
I just used a 2 in one stain on mine...should I be putting some polyurathane on it too???
thanks -
Mark, I don't think you have to, but I wanted a shinier finish. I'm sure it will protect it a little better, but your's should be fine as long as you reapply the stain every couple of years. If you cover it or it is under a covered area, you'll be fine.

Thanks, but I'm a can man lol, but you are right. I am going to add one, but haven't decided what kind I want. I found one that read "Carpe' Cervasium" which means Cease the Beer, that I wanted, but can't find the website again where I saw it.

Is that a huge piece of raw slate underneath? I am having a hell of a time finding that stuff here in Phoenix AZ.

Awesome. Are they Large or medium eggs?
-
Just posted my nest, I think that I am going to close in my sides and add a some doors. Great Rig.
-
How is it you can build a table like that and then have trouble posting pics???
-
that is fantastic!!!!!!
-
It's actually just some extra thick concrete pavers. The eggs are setting on the feet on top of the pavers.
-
Thanks, and yes I am covering it. I found a company called coverworks that I ordered one from. It's a good place to find odd and large size covers.
-
I liked your design, and looked great with the marble or granite top. enclosing with doors would look awesome. If you do it, make sure and post it so we can see.

Very nice looking table. I am looking for some ideas for my two large eggs.
