Egg Transporter idea

<p />I built these simple egg holders to secure the eggs in the back of my Tahoe. $24 in lumber & wood screws and it paid off already.[p]We were coming home from the Texas Eggfest last night when a deer ran in front of the car before me. I had to seriously slam the breaks to avoid hitting the car in front and the eggs rode through the manuver without a hitch. Too cool!

How sweet it looks. Do you load egg in cradle first? Also, nice pics of eggfest, I just took a gander of all of them.
Headed out to Arrowhead with DD ribs and Swamp Venom thighs and drumsticks. That sure would be handy today. My bbq smells like 8-0. Go Chiefs![p]CWM

Thanks, [p]We load the egg in the cradle and then into the Tahoe. It's much easier to handle that way.

jwitheld,[p]Hmmm, you could have something going there. Actually, I flip it over when I take the egg out and put it in the nest and then I have a small table next to the egg.
